Need Antarctica in your Log?

If Antarctica is still on your DX wish list, now is an excellent opportunity to add one of the world's rarest operating
locations to your logbook.
At least two Australian amateurs are currently active from Australian Antarctic research stations and expect to remain
on air until around December 2026, operating whenever station duties and the Antarctic weather allow.
Tom Blunt, VK2TBC, is operating as VK0TBC from Casey Station, Antarctica.
Tom is active on SSB and FT8, with much of his activity currently on 20 metres FT8 while additional SSB operating continues
as time permits.
He maintains a dedicated website with operating updates, station information and QSL details at

making it easy to keep track of his latest activity.
Meanwhile, Dave Short, VK2JDS, is on the air as VK0DS from Davis Station, Antarctica.
Dave is operating primarily FT8, with activity dependent on work commitments and the challenging Antarctic environment.
