WIA 2026 Executive Announced

Date : 24 / 05 / 2026
Author : Justin Giles-Clark - VK7TW

The Wireless Institute of Australia has held the first Board meeting of the 2026 Board year,
formally electing its Executive team to guide the organisation through the next phase of growth and renewal.

Elected to the Executive were President Scott Williams VK3KJ, Vice President Peter Schrader VK4EA and
Company Secretary Peter Clee VK8ZZ.

The newly elected Executive brings a substantial depth of experience across governance, finance,
regulation and organisational leadership, having played a key role in steering the WIA into a strong
and stable financial position over recent years.

With that foundation now firmly established, the focus for 2026 shifts toward growing and supporting membership,
strengthening engagement with affiliated clubs, expanding education and training pathways, and ensuring the WIA
continues to evolve as a modern national organisation representing and supporting Australian amateur radio
operators into the future.
