================================================================================
U.S. DAILY SITUATION REPORT (SITREP)
================================================================================
DATE: May 13, 2026 | TIME: 18:00 EST
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[ BLUF: BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT ]
-----------------------------
PROJECT FREEDOM REACTIVATED: NAVAL ESCORTS RESUMED AT 06:00 EST FOLLOWING A
BREAKDOWN IN THE OMANI BACK-CHANNEL; U.S.S. ABRAHAM LINCOLN AIR WING
EXECUTED
"DYNAMIC STRIKES" ON IRGC FAST-ATTACK PORTS. DHS SEC. MULLIN HAS DECLARED A
"LOGISTICS EMERGENCY" AS CYBERAI DETECTS MASSIVE LATERAL MOVEMENT IN RAIL
SWITCHING NETWORKS. A MODERATE RISK (LEVEL 4/5) OF SEVERE WEATHER IS ACTIVE
FOR THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY, WHILE MICHIGAN’S TOMAHAWK LAKE FIRE IS
NOW
30% CONTAINED.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I. THE IRAN WAR (OPERATION EPIC FURY - PHASE II)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* ESCORT RESUMPTION: Following the failure of the "Counter-Memorandum"
negotiations, POTUS has ordered the resumption of active merchant
escorts.
The first convoy of three LNG tankers cleared the Strait at 14:00 EST
under
the protection of the USS Stockdale and USS Pinckney.
* KINETIC STRIKES: U.S. Navy EA-18G Growlers and F/A-18E Super Hornets
targeted
four IRGC naval "swarm" bases near Bandar Abbas. The Pentagon confirms
the destruction of 12 semi-submersible drone vessels before they could
deploy. No U.S. aircraft were lost; one Iranian SAM battery was
neutralized.
* RED SEA ESCALATION: Houthi forces launched a saturated drone attack
against
commercial shipping in the Bab el-Mandeb; the USS Carney intercepted
all 18 targets using its 5-inch gun and RAM missiles.
* STRATEGIC POSTURE: "Force Echo" remains the active readiness level. The
Pentagon has signaled that any "Breakout" attempt by the Iranian regular
navy will be met with immediate disproportionate force.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
II. HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* LOGISTICS EMERGENCY: Secretary Markwayne Mullin has issued a Level 1
Logistics Emergency. CyberAI Sentinels identified an "Advanced
Persistent
Threat" (APT) attempting to manipulate the automated braking systems of
freight trains within the "Mullin Corridors." Manual overrides are now
mandatory for all hazardous material transports.
* ENFORCEMENT: ICE and "CyberAI" processing units successfully
identified and
detained 200 individuals on the Terrorist Screening Dataset (TSDS)
attempting to move through northern transit hubs. Sec. Mullin noted that
the AI transition is "catching threats that humans missed for decades."
* TSA/AVIATION: Operations remain stable, but "Cyber-Amber" alerts have
been
extended to ATL and CLT hub airports due to suspected GPS spoofing
incidents originating from offshore.
* BORDER SECURITY: Deployment of the "Autonomous Border Interceptors" (ABI)
prototypes began today in the El Paso sector. These AI-driven units
provide 24/7 infrared persistence without agent fatigue.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
III. SEVERE WEATHER & WILDFIRES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* MISSISSIPPI VALLEY OUTBREAK: A Level 4 (Moderate) risk is active for
Louisiana, Mississippi, and Southern Arkansas tonight. PDS (Particularly
Dangerous Situation) Tornado Watches are in effect. Forecasters warn of
long-track tornadoes and winds exceeding 80 MPH.
* OHIO VALLEY RECOVERY: Cleanup continues from last night's storms.
"Mullin Corridor" rail traffic is experiencing 6-hour delays as crews
inspect tracks for CyberAI-flagged "anomalies" and physical debris.
* WILDFIRES (PL-2):
- MICHIGAN: The "Tomahawk Lake" fire has reached 5,200 acres.
Containment
rose to 30% today as winds shifted, allowing ground crews to establish
a hard line on the western flank.
- NEW MEXICO: "Hermit's Peak II" fire (10,500 acres) exhibits "extreme"
spotting. The Gallinas watershed is now the primary protection
priority.
- FLORIDA: "South Canal" fire (22,000 acres) is 50% contained. Smoke
advisories remain for I-75 between Gainesville and Lake City.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV. ECONOMIC & INFRASTRUCTURE IMPACT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* ENERGY: Brent Crude spiked to $95.10/bbl following the Bandar Abbas
strikes. Markets are pricing in a "Long Summer" of naval combat.
Domestic gasoline average: $4.64/gal.
* LOGISTICS: The "Mullin Corridors" are operating at 75% efficiency due to
the manual braking requirement. Shippers are warned to expect
"significant"
bottlenecks in the St. Louis and Memphis hubs.
* MARKETS: The Dow fell 350 points today; defense and cybersecurity stocks
outperformed the broader market. Investors are increasingly hedged
against
the potential for a major IRGC counter-strike.
