U.S. DAILY SITUATION REPORT (SITREP)
================================================================================
DATE: April 01, 2026 | TIME: 18:00 EST
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[ BLUF: BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT ]
-----------------------------
OPERATION EPIC FURY ENTERS DAY 34. U.S. STRATEGIC BOMBERS CONDUCTED
DEEP-STRIKE
MISSONS AGAINST HARDENED IRGC COMMAND NODES IN SHIRAZ AND ISFAHAN. DHS SEC.
MULLIN'S "PHASE TWO" RAIL SURGE IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY TO DE-BOTTLENECK THE
INLAND SUPPLY CHAIN. A DESTRUCTIVE TORNADO OUTBREAK IN THE OHIO VALLEY HAS
LEFT SCATTERED DAMAGE, WHILE THE RED RIVER AT FARGO IS FORECAST TO REACH A
MODERATE CREST WITHIN 24 HOURS.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I. THE IRAN WAR (OPERATION EPIC FURY - DAY 34)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* KINETIC UPDATE: Following the March 31 collapse of diplomatic
verification
talks, B-21 Raiders and B-2 Spirits conducted a coordinated night strike
on the Shiraz subterranean command hub. Initial Battle Damage Assessment
(BDA) suggests a total loss of regional IRGC drone-relay capabilities.
* NAVAL FRONT: Trident Guard Convoy #12—the largest to date—successfully
transited the Strait of Hormuz with a 15-ship escort. U.S. Navy P-8
Poseidons neutralized three "drifting" acoustic mines detected in the
primary shipping channel.
* DIPLOMACY: The "Swiss-channel" remains cold. Tehran has reportedly issued
a "Red Alert" to its regional proxies in Iraq and Syria, signaling a
potential shift toward asymmetric retaliation as its conventional
military
infrastructure continues to degrade.
* CASUALTIES: No new U.S. combat fatalities reported. Independent monitors
estimate that 65% of Tehran is currently without reliable running
water due
to the failure of power-dependent pumping stations.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
II. HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* LOGISTICS SURGE: Secretary Markwayne Mullin signed "Directive 004" today,
formally activating "Rail Strike Teams" at major intermodal hubs. Over
400 DHS agents have been reassigned to expedite customs inspections at
inland rail-heads in Chicago and Memphis.
* PORT RECOVERY: The maritime backlog at the Port of Savannah and Port of
Houston is now 70% cleared. Commercial shipping insurance rates for
U.S.-flagged vessels have stabilized following the success of Trident
Guard.
* BORDER STATUS: The first "High-Tech Border Battalion" of National Guard
specialists has achieved operational status in the Laredo sector. Sec.
Mullin stated the goal is "total domain awareness" by the end of Q2.
* CYBER WATCH: CISA confirms the "ShadowBit" ransomware threat has been
mitigated at three Pennsylvania water plants. A new "Shields Up"
advisory
is in effect for the U.S. power grid as a precaution against Iranian
"parting-shot" cyber-attacks.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
III. SEVERE WEATHER & WILDFIRES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* OHIO VALLEY TORNADOES: Survey teams are in the field assessing damage
from
yesterday’s Level 4 outbreak. Preliminary reports confirm at least 14
tornadoes touched down across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Power remains
out for 115,000 customers in the region.
* RED RIVER FLOODING: The Red River of the North at Fargo/Moorhead is
approaching a "Moderate" flood crest of 21.8 ft. Mandatory sandbagging
remains in effect for riverfront zones. Cooler temperatures are
providing
a brief "melt-stall," aiding levee reinforcement.
* TEXAS/OKLAHOMA FIRES: The High Plains Complex (Borger/Hutchinson
County) is
now 82% contained. Increased humidity and light rain showers have
allowed
all mandatory evacuation orders to be lifted. USDA continues
emergency feed
deliveries to fire-affected cattle ranchers.
* NORTHERN TIER: A late-season winter system is forecast to bring 4-8
inches
of "wet snow" to parts of Michigan and Wisconsin by Saturday,
potentially
complicating power restoration efforts in the Midwest.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV. ECONOMIC & INFRASTRUCTURE IMPACT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* ENERGY: Brent Crude is trading at $89/bbl. The market is pricing in the
reliability of the Strait of Hormuz convoys despite the lack of a
formal ceasefire agreement.
* SUPPLY CHAIN: Major U.S. retailers report that "Just-in-Time" inventories
are returning to 90% of baseline levels as the DHS port/rail surge
clears
the month-long shutdown backlog.
* MARKETS: The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 185 points today, led by
gains in the logistics and aerospace/defense sectors.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
