U.S. DAILY SITUATION REPORT (SITREP)
================================================================================
DATE: March 25, 2026 | TIME: 18:00 EST
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[ BLUF: BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT ]
-----------------------------
OPERATION EPIC FURY ENTERS DAY 26 AS U.S. FORCES TRANSITION TO "STABILITY AND
INTERDICTION" OPS IN THE PERSIAN GULF. DOMESTICALLY, SECRETARY MULLIN HAS
AUTHORIZED AN EMERGENCY OVERTIME SURGE TO CLEAR THE 40-DAY CUSTOMS BACKLOG.
A DANGEROUS MULTI-DAY SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK IS UNDERWAY ACROSS THE DEEP
SOUTH, WHILE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER THREATENS THE SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I. THE IRAN WAR (OPERATION EPIC FURY - DAY 26)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* NAVAL FRONT: "Trident Guard" convoys are now transiting the Strait of Hormuz
on a 12-hour rotational basis. U.S. Navy EOD teams successfully neutralized
a cluster of smart-mines near the Larak Island approach.
* AIR CAMPAIGN: Sortie tempo has stabilized. Focus remains on "Phase 3"
interdiction of IRGC supply lines into Iraq and Syria. Centcom reports the
destruction of a major ballistic missile storage site in the Zagros Mountains.
* ASYMMETRIC THREATS: Iranian-backed "Husseiniyun" cells claimed a cyber-attack
on a regional oil refinery in Bahrain; fire suppression systems were
temporarily disabled, but no kinetic damage occurred.
* CASUALTIES: Total U.S. KIA remains at 13. International humanitarian
agencies are raising alarms over a brewing "water crisis" in Tehran as
infrastructure strikes impact pumping station power grids.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
II. HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* RECOVERY OPS: Sec. Markwayne Mullin issued "Directive 001" today, authorizing
12-hour shifts for CBP and TSA personnel to clear the maritime and aviation
backlogs. Pre-check and Global Entry processing is back to 85% capacity.
* SHIELD OF THE AMERICAS: A record $4.2B in cargo is currently "anchored"
awaiting customs clearance at the Ports of Long Beach and Savannah. Sec.
Mullin has diverted 300 field agents from administrative duties to
expedite inspections.
* ENFORCEMENT: Following his confirmation, Sec. Mullin reiterated a "Zero-
Tolerance" policy for potential domestic saboteurs, initiating a nationwide
review of visa holders with known IRGC-linked family ties.
* CYBER WATCH: CISA confirms that while "DustySaber" malware probes have
decreased, a new phishing campaign targeting DHS payroll systems has
emerged following the payment restoration announcement.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
III. SEVERE WEATHER & WILDFIRES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* GULF COAST OUTBREAK: A Level 3 (Enhanced) risk of severe weather is active
for parts of Mississippi and Alabama tonight. Multiple tornado warnings
were issued this afternoon. Damage reports are pending in the Jackson, MS
metro area.
* SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS: "Extremely Critical" fire weather is forecast for
tomorrow (March 26) across the Texas Panhandle. Sustained winds of 40 MPH
and humidity below 5% create a "powder keg" scenario for cured grasslands.
* WASHINGTON RECOVERY: Ground stability remains a concern. WSDOT has
deployed LiDAR-equipped drones to monitor active landslide "slumps"
along the I-5 corridor following last week's atmospheric river.
* MIDWEST FROST: The "Polar Fragment" is finally dissipating. Highs in
the 50s are forecast for the Great Lakes by the weekend, though
unseasonable flooding from rapid snowmelt is now a secondary concern.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV. ECONOMIC & INFRASTRUCTURE IMPACT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* ENERGY: Brent Crude is trading at $91/bbl. The U.S. Department of Energy
reports a 3% increase in domestic refinery output as supply chain
anxieties ease.
* LOGISTICS: Air cargo rates have spiked 15% this week as shippers bypass
backlogged sea ports. Major carriers (FedEx/UPS) report a 2-day delay
in domestic "Priority" shipments.
* MARKETS: The "Mullin Bounce" continues on Wall Street; transportation
and defense stocks saw a 2.1% gain today.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
