OPERATION EPIC FURY ENTERS DAY 10 WITH THE PENTAGON WARNING OF THE "MOST
INTENSE"
STRIKES YET TARGETING TEHRAN AS TOTAL U.S. WOUNDED RISES TO 140.
DOMESTICALLY,
A DANGEROUS TORNADO OUTBREAK IS CURRENTLY UNDERWAY IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS,
WITH
BLOOMINGTON AND PEORIA UNDER LEVEL 4 (MODERATE) RISK. THE DHS LEADERSHIP
VACUUM PERSISTS FOLLOWING A BUDGET SHUTDOWN THAT HAS LAPSED FOR OVER
THREE WEEKS.

I. THE IRAN WAR (OPERATION EPIC FURY - DAY 10)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* CASUALTIES: The Pentagon confirmed 140 U.S. service members wounded and 7
killed in the first 10 days. 108 have returned to duty; 8 remain severe.
* OPERATIONS: SecWar Pete Hegseth announced today as the "most intense
day of
strikes," focusing on remaining IRGC command nodes and industrial zones.
* NAVAL: CENTCOM reports over 50 Iranian naval vessels destroyed or damaged
since Feb 28, including the frigate IRIS Dena, sunk by a U.S. submarine.
* STRATEGY: Total targets struck now exceed 5,000. U.S. officials are
collaborating with Ukrainian experts to refine counter-drone tactics
against Iranian-made suicide UAVs.
* TIMELINE: White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt clarified the war

* FLOODING: Flash Flood Watches are in effect for Chicago and surrounding
counties (Cook, DuPage, Will) through 03:00 Wednesday.
* FIRE WEATHER: Critical fire conditions persist in the Southern Plains.
National Preparedness Level remains at 1.
* ACTIVE WILDFIRES:
- FLORIDA: Active behavior at the FPL Solar Field fire near Immokalee;
infrastructure remains threatened.
- OKLAHOMA: New large incidents reported near Hough and Hominy;
moderate behavior with "running and smoldering" noted.
- GEORGIA: Wind-driven runs reported south of Donalsonville.
