Hi everyone,
The net is off to a strong start this month. Thank you to everyone who has checked in so far.
We are seeing an encouraging trend: for the first time since the net began, Packet check-ins have outnumbered Winlink check-ins
. It is great to see Packet Radio growing across the country and proving to be a viable network for the EMCOMM community. I enc
ourage everyone participating to continue supporting and promoting this mode.
I am also pleased to announce a new tracking system. I have developed a custom logging program that reports directly to Google
Maps. The map will be updated several times a day, with final results posted as soon as the net concludes.
Current Counts:
- Packet: 43
- Winlink: 32
- APRS: 21
- VarAC: 10
- Total to date: 106
You can view the net map at the following link. It will be embedded in the TPRFN website starting next month:

This month's instructions are available here: https://www.tprfn.net/pktnet-info
Thank you again to those who have checked in. We are standing by for additional check-ins.
Best regards,
