V4 Change Log: LIVE NOW
- Winlink Address Update: The gateway address has been updated to
WLGATE@WINLINK.ORG for all incoming message transmissions.
- Callsign Home BBS Verification: A dual-layer verification process is
now in place. The system will first consult a database to locate a
callsign's Home BBS address; if not found, it will utilize the BBS White
Pages (WP).
- Access Controls: New filters have been implemented to identify
unauthorized users and freebanders. Additionally, a blacklist is active
to manage any unauthorized access to the gateway.
- User Resources: Version 4 is now live. Detailed instructions can be
found in the User Guide at the following link:
https://www.tprfn.net/gateway-user-guide-v4
V3 Change Log:
Incoming Winlink messages should now use the full Packet Hierarchical
Addressing. Example: W1ABC@N3MEL.#EPA.PA.USA.NOAM.
Using this format will further ensure that the message is routed
correctly within the Packet Network.
V2 Change Log:
The outbound Subject line has been revised. It now states “New Message
From (sending station),” allowing the receiving station to identify the
message sender.
