Hi Lee,
I'm the sysop of N0ARY BBS. Your bulletin made it here just fine. Any
personal messages would get here the same way. Once it enters the
BBS network, forwarding and routing is fully automated. You don't
have to worry about BPQ nodes or paths, all BBSs on the network
follow the same forwarding protocol.
In this particular case, your bulletin arrived here through this route:
R:260430/1600Z @:N6RME.#NCA.CA.USA.NOAM #:38913 [El Dorado] $:36795_K5DAT
R:260430/1552z @:AA6HF.#SCA.CA.USA.NOAM [Palm Springs] $:36795_K5DAT
R:260430/1551Z @:K5DAT.NEWI.WI.USA.NA [ELK Grove Village, IL USA] #:5083 XrLin505c
R:260430/1551Z 36795@K5DAT.#NEWI.WI.USA.NOAM LinBPQ6.0.25
That turned out to be fairly direct. Other BBSs in this region received your
bulletin too, W6RAY got it through this route:
R:260430/1602Z 5905@KD6MTU.#NNV.NV.USA.NOAM BPQ6.0.25
R:260430/1602Z 5696@N6PNK.#NCA.CA.USA.NOAM LinBPQ6.0.25
R:260430/1552Z 17508@N5MDT.#STX.TX.USA.NOAM BPQK6.0.25
R:260430/1552Z 9322@KR8X.#NTX.TX.USA.NOAM LinBPQ6.0.25
R:260430/1552z @:N2MH.#NNJ.NJ.USA.NOAM [via Mesh] jnos 2.0p $:36795_K5DAT
R:260430/1551Z @:K5DAT.NEWI.WI.USA.NA [ELK Grove Village, IL USA] #:5083 XrLin505c
R:260430/1551Z 36795@K5DAT.#NEWI.WI.USA.NOAM LinBPQ6.0.25
So, you see, it'll get here one way or the other. Such is the genius
of the BBS network and forwarding design, which was figured out some
35 years ago. :)
sending this as a bulletin too, for anyone who's curious.
73, Gary WB6YRU, sysop of N0ARY.#NCA.CA.USA.NOAM (San Jose, CA)
