Gus, it will run on Linux. You just need an
autoconf script that is generic from the
Linux system. It guesses some things, and
it will compile just fine. I will be fixing that
too so that you don't have to pull the autoconf from
your system. It runs fine on Linux. pkgsrc runs on
Linux too. It is just a tree full of patches to
automatically download upstream source and package
them in a NetBSD style package. This can run on
ANY POSIX system that is supported, and Linux is
one that is supported.
