[1] SUMMARY
-----------
A significant and dangerous severe weather outbreak is underway across
the Mid-
Mississippi and Ohio Valleys. A MODERATE RISK (Level 4 of 5) is in
effect for
portions of Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee. This is a
life-safety
event with multiple intense tornadoes and destructive winds expected.
[2] CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK (DAY 1 - MONDAY)

REGION: SE Missouri, Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky, NW Tennessee.
RISK: MODERATE (LEVEL 4).
HAZARDS:
- TORNADOES: 15% hatched area; multiple strong to intense (EF3+) possible.
- WIND: Destructive gusts 70-80 mph; 45% probability in core risk area.
- HAIL: 2" to 3" (Hen Egg to Baseball size); 30% probability.
TIMING: Peak intensity now through 0400Z. Discrete supercells are
transitioning
into high-end bowing segments and storm clusters.
[3] REGIONAL IMPACTS & EXTENDED RISK

ENHANCED RISK (LEVEL 3): Surrounding the Moderate risk, covering parts
of AR,
IN, and broader TN. Expect all-mode severe threats through the overnight
hours.
TUESDAY OUTLOOK: SLIGHT RISK (Level 2) shifts into the Lower Mississippi
Valley
and Mid-South. Primary threats will be damaging winds and large hail as the
cold front advances eastward.
[4] FIRE WEATHER

REGION: Southern High Plains (NM/TX Panhandle).
STATUS: CRITICAL.
CONDITIONS: Red Flag Warnings persist. Very low humidity (5-12%) and
sustained
southwesterly winds of 25-35 mph will maintain high fire-spread potential.
[5] MARINE / ALASKA

REGION: Western Aleutians and Bering Sea.
WARNING: Hurricane Force Wind Warning continues.
CONDITIONS: Sustained winds near 60 kt, gusts to 75 kt. Seas 25-30 ft.
Extremely
hazardous for small craft and commercial vessels in the Bering Sea.
