U.S. DAILY SITUATION REPORT (SITREP)
================================================================================
DATE: March 28, 2026 | TIME: 18:00 EST
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[ BLUF: BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT ]
-----------------------------
OPERATION EPIC FURY ENTERS DAY 29 AS COALITION FORCES ESTABLISH "AIR
DOMINANCE"
OVER 85% OF IRANIAN TERRITORY. DOMESTICALLY, SECRETARY MULLIN HAS DEPLOYED
NATIONAL GUARD CYBER-UNITS TO REINFORCE PORT SECURITY NODES. THE "HIGH
PLAINS
COMPLEX" IN TEXAS HAS EXPLODED TO 110,000 ACRES AMID PERSISTENT GUSTS,
WHILE
THE SOUTHEAST SHIFTS TO RECOVERY FOLLOWING THE DEADLY BIRMINGHAM EF-4
TORNADO.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I. THE IRAN WAR (OPERATION EPIC FURY - DAY 29)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* AIR OPERATIONS: U.S. Air Force B-21 Raiders successfully neutralized
three "hardened and deeply buried" (HDB) command centers in the Alborz
Mountains. IRGC leadership is believed to be operating via decentralized
courier networks following the total collapse of military satellite
comms.
* NAVAL FRONT: The 6th "Trident Guard" commercial convoy is currently
transiting the Strait of Hormuz. For the first time since Day 1, zero
Iranian naval assets were detected within 50 miles of the transit lane.
* DIPLOMACY: The "Swiss-channel" talks remain active. Reports suggest
Tehran
has requested a 48-hour "humanitarian pause" to address water shortages;
the White House has countered with a demand for the immediate release of
all detained foreign nationals and proof of nuclear site stand-down.
* CASUALTIES: No U.S. fatalities in 72 hours. WHO reports a burgeoning
cholera risk in southern Iran due to the destruction of power-dependent
sanitation systems.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
II. HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* PORT RECOVERY: Sec. Mullin confirmed the maritime cargo backlog has
decreased by 30% since Monday. Priority is being given to "Perishable
and
Pharmaceutical" containers. The Port of Long Beach has resumed 24/7
crane operations with full CBP staffing.
* CYBER DEFENSE: Mullin authorized the "Titan Shield" initiative, deploying
specialized cyber-units to monitor SCADA systems in major U.S. seaports
following intercepted "wiper" malware signatures traced back to the IRGC.
* ENFORCEMENT: ICE and CBP report a "High-Value Target" apprehension in
San Diego involving an individual carrying encrypted IRGC logistics
plans.
Mullin stated, "The border is closed to those who wish us harm."
* TSA STATUS: Average wait times at the top 20 U.S. airports remain under
15 minutes. Back-pay for employees has been 100% disbursed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
III. SEVERE WEATHER & WILDFIRES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* TEXAS WILDFIRE EMERGENCY: The High Plains Complex (Borger/Hutchinson
County)
has grown to 110,000 acres and is 5% contained. Extreme fire behavior is
being driven by 45 MPH southwesterly winds. Over 2,500 residents remain
under mandatory evacuation.
* TORNADO RECOVERY: The Southeast death toll from the March 26 outbreak
has been revised to 9. FEMA has opened Mobile Disaster Recovery Centers
in Jefferson County, AL, and Troup County, GA.
* NORTHWEST FLOODING: While rivers have crested, soil saturation remains
at critical levels in Washington. A new, weaker system arriving Sunday
poses a high risk of triggering secondary landslides on existing scars.
* SPRING MELT: Rapid warming in the Upper Midwest has triggered "Minor
Flood"
stage alerts for the Red River of the North. Local authorities are
prepositioning sandbags in Fargo and Grand Forks.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV. ECONOMIC & INFRASTRUCTURE IMPACT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* ENERGY: Brent Crude dropped further to $86/bbl as market confidence in
the
Hormuz "Trident Guard" corridor grows. U.S. average retail diesel prices
have decreased for the fourth consecutive day.
* LOGISTICS: FedEx and UPS have announced a "Normalization Plan" to resolve
shipping delays by April 1, citing the restoration of DHS customs
services.
* AGRICULTURE: Texas officials estimate that over 5,000 head of cattle have
been lost in the High Plains Complex fires so far, impacting local
meat-packing supply chains.
