--- New and improved nodes
During a previous net (2024-11-12) the group spoke about chat aliases
sprouting a # symbol at the front.

After some investigation, MM0UHR tracked down a node with configuration
that was creating it. The Chat link configuration was set with hash
symbols at the start of each line. The sysop was contacted and the
configuration was changed and the updates spread out over the network.

Further discussion covered the HIDENODES configuration at the node
level. If there's a node that is just passing messages and doesn't
provide any services, you may want to start the alias with a # and then
nodes with HIDENODES set will filter them out of the node list unless
the are matched with a node search.

There was also some live debugging of chat, though no explanations
quite yet. Sometimes the participants disagree which topic each person
is in, and sometimes /P commands return no results.

-- UberSDR
Several people playing with UberSDR and having a great time. It's a
remarkably competent piece of software

-- Other
Three folk on the net had been playing radio around SOTA on the
previous day (for a May the Fourth SOTA badge)

MM0UHR was out with the fabric j-pole discussed 2025-02-11 and it
worked very well in dry weather. 1.5:1 across the 2m band.

GM0CQV is enjoying the blossoming trees in his new back garden.
