Connie Mr. Rambo is in the preverbal dog house this morning and absolutely knows it. He is right now sulking in his crate because he got severely yelled at. The little shit almost took Leona’s head off in the yard this morning as I was leash walking her around the yard as I can’t let her run right now. Here comes 40mph Rambo and he cuts between me and Leona as she is peeing and of course catches the leash and almost yanks her head off. No pups were hurt but man did he get scolded. Oh, there was less than 1ft of space between where I was standing and Leona was.

It was all fun and games and begging until someone got crated. Anyone want to guess who? Someone has decided rather than eat the food we will beg for cookies, treats, and everything else and eat when they damn feel like it. I wanted a peaceful dinner tonight so someone got crated. The brat.

Back from vet…. Mindy and Lady in perfect health. No issues. Of course they are not thrilled with me as they got shots and bloodwork checked. Mindy is at 68 pounds and Lady is at 60 pounds. Mindy last raced on May 5, 2009 at 63 pounds. Lady last raced on 1/26/2013 at 56 pounds. I think Lady is going to need to loose a little weight. Mindy, I think will be OK as she was still a young pup (19 months) when she was running and has grown a little. Lady has grown quite a bit as well but she does need to loose a few pounds. Teeth in good shape, Mindy needs to loose a little tarter, but we can work on that. No dental on either needed at this time. Phew….

Second crate came down today. Still have one up for Leona as she isn’t quite cat safe yet. She’s doing very well with the cat, but she does like going into her crate to sleep in the late afternoons or evenings. But door is open and she is free to come and go unless she totally starts being obnoxious to the cat.

Peanut is not happy with me (actually she is pissed)… she just got a bath. It’s her own fault you know, next time she shouldn’t smash the marshmallow all over her side when it ran out of her mouth. It’s OK baby, you will dry eventually.
