Made it. Barely. E45 to D12, the last gate in each terminal and someone decided it was a brilliant move to shut down all moving walkways in the E terminal. At least I am getting my steps in today.
These flights are just way too early. And I think I have a very tight connection in Charlotte with my Tampa flight.

In most states in this country when the speed limit is 60, people creep on up towards 65, when the speed limit is 65 people are nearing 70. In the few states that still have the 55 speed limit people are approaching 60. That is normal.
Well…. after a week driving here I can tell you South Carolina is NOT normal. For some very strange and mind-warping reason people here are consistently driving UNDER the speed limit. Seriously, 60mph, nope, let’s drive 50. posted 65, nope, let’s drive 60 or better yet someplace between 55 and 60. Oh, a 45mph side road? Why bother going over 40.

Hey folks, if you have hurricane insurance claims and have inspections scheduled, here are a few examples of what NOT to do.
1) Give a wrong street address. The number you give must be one we can F’ing find. The lot number does no good, the number on the mailbox is what matters.
2) In the above instance, when you are called, from recorded lines, with tracking, 8 times in a 1 hour period starting 20 minutes before your appointment and going until 30 minutes after the start of your appointment window try answering. Oh, don’t call the tech 30 minutes after the end of your appointment window and give the correct address and leave a Voicemail that you have been waiting this whole time. Oh, you called from the phone number we have been calling earlier. Nice try, you were not home.
3) In another great move, decide when we make our “on the way” call, you are keeping your grandchildren and don’t have time for us to look at your “extremely hazardous electrical panel and wiring.” Yeh, the fact you declined an inspection and why, gets reported back to your adjuster. You may have just closed your own claim. If your electrical is that hazardous you would want us there ASAP and you would not have your grandchildren in the house. Nice try.
