I have been participating in the Lake Wales Family YMCA’s Winter fitness challenge and since I try to be an overachiever I selected the “ironman” challenge. This involves 200 miles of biking, 90 miles of running, and 10 miles of swimming in the month of January. As of today (1/10) I have biked 43 miles, run 68 miles, and swam 8.9 miles. Not bad if I say so myself. I think finishing the biking part is going to be a challenge. The running part will just take 2 more days and the swimming is 1 more day.
