I am trying to get serious again with my effort to explore and map all of the Aurora, Co bike paths and trails. This is not a one year project and I did hit a setback with my coals with my health issues over the Summer.

    Today it was Horseshoe Park.

Some wildlife was hunting and being hunted on the trail connecting Horseshoe Park to Toll Gate and Power Line Trails.

  • Cherry Creek Dam

Did a 4.58 mile walk/slow jog along the Cherry Creek Dam trail in Aurora, CO. I am trying to explore all of the town trails. Lake is frozen over with the ice expanding up over the rocks of the dam.

I want to do the full around the lake trail, but that may have to wait until a Spring weekend.

  • Ice Fog

Today we had an “ice fog” in Aurora, CO. This is were the temperatures fall below 32 degrees on the ground, but there is still warmth in the atmosphere. The ice freezes on contact. Made for some nasty walking but it was really cool to look at.
