Sunday and parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic/New England on

Low pressure over the Middle Mississippi Valley will move slowly
eastward to the Eastern Ohio Valley by Monday. Showers and severe
thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Ohio and Tennessee
Valleys. Therefore, the SPC has issued an area of a Slight Risk
(level 2/5) of severe thunderstorms over parts of the Ohio
Valley/Middle Mississippi Valleys through Sunday morning. In
addition, the WPC has issued a Slight Risk (level 2/4) of
excessive rainfall over parts of the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley,
Tennessee Valley, Southeast, and parts of the Central/Eastern Gulf
Coast through Sunday morning. The associated heavy rain will
create mainly localized areas of flash flooding, with urban areas,
roads, small streams, and low-lying areas being the most
vulnerable.
Moreover, a nearby front and monsoonal moisture will produce
showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain over parts of the
Southern Rockies/Southern High Plains. Therefore, the WPC has
issued a Slight Risk (level 2/4) of excessive rainfall over parts
of the Southern Rockies/Southern High Plains through Sunday
morning. The associated heavy rain will create mainly localized
areas of flash flooding, with urban areas, roads, small streams,
and low-lying areas being the most vulnerable.
On Sunday, a boundary moves over the Lower Great Lakes, producing
showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain. Therefore, the WPC has
issued a Slight Risk (level 2/4) of excessive rainfall over parts
of the Lower Great Lakes from Sunday through Monday morning.
Likewise, the associated heavy rain will create mainly localized
areas of flash flooding, with urban areas, roads, small streams,
and low-lying areas being the most vulnerable.
In addition, showers and thunderstorms will develop from parts of
the Northeast to parts of the Central/Eastern Gulf Coast. An area
of heavy rain will develop over parts of the Central/Eastern Gulf
Coast. Therefore, the WPC has issued a Slight Risk (level 2/4) of
excessive rainfall over parts of the Central/Eastern Gulf Coast
from Sunday through Monday morning. The associated heavy rain will
create mainly localized areas of flash flooding, with urban areas,
roads, small streams, and low-lying areas being the most
vulnerable.
By Monday, showers and thunderstorms will extend from the
Northeast to the Gulf Coast, creating heavy rain over parts of the
Northern Mid-Atlantic/New England. Therefore, the WPC has issued a
Slight Risk (level 2/4) of excessive rainfall over parts of the
Northern Mid-Atlantic/New England. The associated heavy rain will
create mainly localized areas of flash flooding, with urban areas,
roads, small streams, and low-lying areas being the most
vulnerable.
Elsewhere, a front moving onshore over the Northwest Coast on
Saturday will produce scattered rain along the Northwest Coast
that will linger through Sunday morning. As the front moves into
the Northern Plains, showers and thunderstorms will develop over
parts of the region on Monday.
