DETAILS: Tornado Warning issued July 27 at 3:32PM EDT until July 27 at
4:00PM EDT by NWS Northern Indiana
DESCRIPTION: At 332 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over Walkerton, or 13 miles southeast of La Porte,
moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated
rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to
roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This
dangerous storm will be near... Koontz Lake around 235 PM CDT. Walkerton
and North Liberty around 335 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this
tornadic thunderstorm include Linkville, La Paz, Lake Of The Woods,
Teegarden, and Tyner.
