AREA: Hendricks, IN; Morgan, IN; Putnam, IN
DETAILS: Tornado Warning issued June 16 at 8:56PM EDT until June 16 at
9:15PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN
DESCRIPTION: At 856 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located two miles
west of Belle Union, or 29 miles north of Bloomington, moving east at 40
mph. HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed
tornado. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to
roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
Locations impacted include... Stilesville, Little Point, Eminence, and
Belle Union. This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 44 and 58.
