Years a go I did an IR camera trick with on old low light camera that could see
IR.
TV IR Poloroid Nearly Black Heatshield
Monitor Camera Filters Purple Box Glass Disk
With the above set up the polorize sunglass filters, can let in, or null out
visable light. So you either, see the black box, or see through it!
When you see through it, you read the Infra Red text pressed on the inside of
the box & a floating back disk.
Then opening the Box you then see a clear glass disk.
