USA EXTREME WEATHER & STORMS
SEVERE WEATHER STATUS: Severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall
possible from the Plains into Upper Midwest, Ohio Valley and Mid-
Atlantic through weekend. Elevated to critical fire weather
conditions across northern and central High Plains.
TORNADO ACTIVITY: Severe thunderstorms expected east Texas into
southeast Iowa/Illinois with strong tornado and damaging wind
potential from central Arkansas into central Missouri.
FLOOD THREAT: Heavy to excessive rainfall from eastern Texas into
Midwest states may bring new or renewed areas of flooding.
WINTER WEATHER: Late season winter storm producing heavy snow and
disruptive ice in Northern Plains moving into Upper Midwest and
Great Lakes through Thursday.
