THUNDERSTORM STATUS: Thunderstorms and heavy rainfall expected from
Central Plains to Ohio Valley and Southeast. Severe weather
possible Upper Midwest to Central Plains on Friday.
HEAT ALERT: Extreme Heat Warning in effect for Arizona and
California areas with afternoon temperatures 102 to 109 degrees
Fahrenheit.
TORNADO OUTLOOK: Friday September 11 shows 5 percent tornado risk
with 30 percent wind threat.
WIND WIND RISK: Sporadic damaging wind gusts possible from southern
Plains to southern Mid-Atlantic, isolated large hail possible over
south-central Colorado into northeast New Mexico and Oklahoma-
Texas Panhandles.
