USA EXTREME WEATHER & STORMS
SEVERE WEATHER ACTIVE: Severe thunderstorms expected from east Texas
into southeast Iowa and Illinois with strong tornado and damaging
wind potential from central Arkansas into central Missouri. Heavy
to excessive rainfall from eastern Texas into Midwest states may
bring new or renewed areas of flooding.
HEAT ADVISORY: Sweltering heat remains across South-Central Plains,
Lower/Middle Mississippi Valley, and Southwest this week with
limited nighttime relief.
TORNADO SEASON: U.S. experiencing worst tornado season in 14 years.
WINTER STORM: Potentially historic massive winter storm slamming
more than half of United States with heavy snow, widespread ice
accumulation and dangerous cold.
