USA EXTREME WEATHER & STORMS
HURRICANE LOWELL: Forecast to pass west of Kauai coastal waters with
high surf and heavy rain impacts to all Hawaiian islands.
HEAT THREAT: Sweltering heat remains across South-Central Plains and
Lower/Middle Mississippi Valley into this week with limited
nighttime relief. Peak afternoon heat indices between 100F and
110F observed across northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana on
September 1-4.
NORTHERN ROCKIES RAINFALL: Moderate to heavy rainfall possible
through Tuesday morning in northern Rockies.
STORM ACTIVITY MIDWEST: Strong storms returning to Midwest and Ohio
