OPERATION EPIC FURY CEASEFIRE ENTERS DAY 7. THE ISLAMABAD SUMMIT HAS
PRODUCED A
"MEMORANDUM OF MARITIME INTENT," THOUGH THE U.S. REJECTS ANY FORMAL
TOLLS IN
THE STRAIT. DHS SEC. MULLIN HAS ACTIVATED "OPERATION GULF GUARDIAN" TO
SECURE
INCOMING ENERGY SHIPMENTS. DAMAGE ASSESSMENTS ARE UNDERWAY IN OKLAHOMA
AFTER
LAST NIGHT'S TORNADOES, WHILE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER PERSISTS IN THE
SOUTHWEST.

I. THE IRAN WAR (OPERATION EPIC FURY - DAY 45)

* DIPLOMACY: The Islamabad Summit concluded today. The U.S., Oman, and
Pakistan
signed a memorandum establishing a "Joint Naval Verification Center" to
monitor the Strait. However, the U.S. State Dept. remains firm: no
payment
will be made to Tehran for the "right of passage."
* CEASEFIRE STATUS: The pause remains in effect despite localized tensions.
CENTCOM reports that Iranian "swarm-boat" activity near the UAE maritime
border has decreased by 60% since the observers arrived.
* HORMUZ STATUS: The first non-coalition commercial tanker since March 3rd
successfully exited the Persian Gulf today without incident. Marine
insurance rates remain high but have begun to plateau for the first time
in six weeks.
* THEATER INTEL: B-21 Raiders maintain "Silent Sentinel" CAP over the
Zagros
Mountains. Intel suggests the IRGC is attempting to relocate mobile

II. HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS)

* OPERATION GULF GUARDIAN: Secretary Markwayne Mullin officially
launched the
maritime surge today. Over 1,200 additional DHS personnel have been
deployed to the Gulf Coast to expedite the security screening of
incoming
energy tankers and ensure critical infrastructure is protected from
sabotage.
* LOGISTICS: Sec. Mullin reported that the "Mullin Logistics Corridors"
have
officially cleared the last of the pharmaceutical backlog. Focus is now
shifting to specialized agricultural chemicals required for the May
planting window.
* BORDER SECURITY: The "Purple Monster" sensor array detected and helped
neutralize a sophisticated underground fiber-optic cable used by cartels
for secure communications near Eagle Pass. Sec. Mullin noted, "We are
taking their eyes and ears away."
* CYBER WATCH: CISA has detected a significant uptick in "spear-phishing"
targeting the families of the recently rescued F-15 airmen. Federal

following the minor rise. A slow recession is expected to resume
tomorrow,
but engineers remain cautious about "saturation-induced levee
failure" as
the water stays at Moderate Stage for an extended duration.
* WILDFIRES (PL-2):
- NEW MEXICO: Red Flag Warnings are active for the entire Eastern
Plains.
Humidity has dropped to 8% with 50 MPH gusts. The "Dry Creek" fire
near
Roswell has grown to 1,200 acres; evacuations are in progress.
