MULLIN
IS SURVEYING RECOVERY IN NORTH CAROLINA AFTER UNFREEZING $1.2B IN FEMA
CONTRACTS. HAWAII IS UNDER A SEVERE WEATHER EMERGENCY WITH "KONA LOW"
FLOODING,
WHILE NATIONAL FIRE ACTIVITY REMAINS AT PL-2 WITH NEW STARTS IN TEXAS.

I. THE IRAN WAR (OPERATION EPIC FURY - DAY 42)

* CEASEFIRE STATUS: The two-week "technical pause" continues. The White
House
formally announced that the 38-day major combat phase successfully
dismantled Iran’s ballistic missile production and naval projection
capabilities. Verification teams are currently negotiating access to
residual industrial sites.
* AIRMEN RECOVERED: In a major morale victory, the Pentagon confirmed the
successful recovery of BOTH airmen from the F-15 downed earlier this
month.
The "harrowing" rescue mission was completed over the Easter weekend;
both
personnel are currently undergoing medical evaluation at Landstuhl.
* HORMUZ TRANSIT: The provisional reopening of the Strait remains stable.
While Tehran continues to push for "reconstruction tolls," the U.S. 10th
Fleet maintains "freedom of navigation" patrols. Commercial traffic has
increased by 25% since the ceasefire began.
* THEATER OVERWATCH: Secretary of War Pete Hegseth noted that while major
kinetic strikes are paused, U.S. forces remain "cocked and leveled" to
strike if IRGC remnants attempt to reposition mobile launch assets.

Monster" sensor array—high-altitude ISR balloons—to the Big Bend sector
to provide 24/7 subterranean and surface detection.
* POLICY SHIFT: DHS is officially reviewing the "Sanctuary Withdrawal"
plan,
which would remove CBP and TSA personnel from airports in
non-cooperative

* WILDFIRES (PL-2):

across 550 acres of brush and grass. Aerial assets are on scene.
- FLORIDA: The "Hilux Fire" (Big Cypress) is at 420 acres and 26%
contained;
structures remain threatened. The "Sargent Fire" is showing minimal
behavior with smoldering near critical rail lines.
- ALABAMA: The "Williams Creek" fire (1,650 acres) is only 10% contained
in heavy slash and timber.
* CENTRAL U.S.: Another round of storms is expected to develop across the
Southern Plains by Sunday, potentially bringing a renewed tornado risk
to the already saturated Mid-South.

IV. ECONOMIC & INFRASTRUCTURE IMPACT
