Fancy getting your name into orbit without having to endure astronaut training, rocket food or the rather inconvenient business
of actually leaving Earth?
The latest AMSAT News Service reports that the “Send Your Name into Space” campaign is now open for the forthcoming Ioffe-1
scientific and educational nanosatellite, with registrations closing on 15 October 2026. Participants can submit a name, photo
graph or drawing, which will be stored on a physical digital storage device and carried aboard Ioffe-1 when it heads into orbit
