Yeh, our old house is right under this track.

Happy dance! Someone else’s problem.

(Happy dance only for us not owning the property anymore. Not for those stuck in the path of this).

All my Florida friends need to take this one seriously. We all know what has been happening to predicted storm strengths as they come across the Gulf. The increase. What is now slated as a 2 could be a 4 or 5 if it stalls over the warm waters.

And….. on the bright side: our OLD house is directly in the path and it is no longer my problem.

It is done! The Florida property belongs to someone else and we are officially no longer residents of the State of Florida. I am not sorry to leave it behind. Now I can feel safe where I live. Now I can feel Jesse Pannell is safe when I travel.

Who knew that in order to get rain I just had to paint the patio and the front porch?

I-4 in Florida is insane. Had to go to Tampa today for a dr visit, my once a year with a specialist. The appointment is usually less than 10 minutes.

2.5 hours out.
1.0 hour at office because dr is running late.
2.5 hours back home.

Dr office is less than 70 miles away from house…..

Me: Oh, GPS tell me which is better I-4 or backroads?
GPS: I-4 is all green
[get’s on I-4]
GPS: STOP!!! I meant red and orange not green
Me: you miserable @#$@#@ piece of crap. You knew it was all red to start with
GPS: I do not understand your question …. repeat…..
