Two different learning management systems that are available:
1) Moodle: Does everything I have ever asked it to do. May have had some slowdowns when 1000 students are testing at one time, but those went away.
2) Canvas: Piece of shit software that does nothing I ask it to do. Every time I ask about something that Moodle used to do that Canvas doesn’t I get, “our developers are working on it for a future release.”
Just had to point out the reason I want to slam my head into a wall.
I keep watching all of these political opinions and memes. I do not remember hearing a single one of the candidates saying that they want to take away anyone’s guns. I do however remember hearing them say, “let’s enact some commonsense gun controls, for example, background checks.”
There is s BIG difference between the two statements. One is a scare tactic. The other is a plan for resolving some major issues. Of course the NRA will prefer the scare tactic.

Edited to add: I spoke too soon. Rambo stopped eating and once he walked away so did everyone else 🙁 I have a feeling Chicken is not what’s for dinner anymore. I did get him to eat some hamburger though, and a few slices of ham. We will see if I can get more down him at our 9pm snack time.
Normally when Jesse is traveling and I do the morning walks I have to split the pack in half. I can’t walk 5 at the same time and make any meaningful progress (I have two that have some issues walking, and they get pushed around too much). While I am out with Peanut, Mindy, and Leona I crate Rambo and Lady.
Lady and Rambo roo the entire time I am out with the other part of the pack. Then, when I come back and switch groups, Peanut, Leona, and Mindy sing to the ones that I am walking.
They didn’t sing this morning. Not a peep. 😥
And 7 years ago today, Lady was officially retired. She came home a few weeks later, in a BLIZZARD.
We have a confirmed diagnosis on Rambo. The biopsy came back as multicentric lymphoma. The other thing we know is that he is now at Stage IV, as the lymphoma involves his spleen, and his lymph nodes at his neck.
Our vet has had the conversation with me about talking to an oncologist and possibly doing chemo, while I understand the chemo for dogs is not nearly as traumatic as chemo for humans, the chemo for this is not a cure. It is designed to extend the lifespan of the dog and provide comfort for a longer period of time. Doing this would be for us, not Rambo, and as upsetting as it is, the right thing in Jesse’s and my minds is to not go this route.
We are going to continue with the steroids until he tells us it’s time to cross the bridge. Believe me, we are not ones that will continue this until he wastes away to nothing, but right now he is happy, ran in the yard again today, is eating, and is without pain. He does have the runs, but that is in the afternoon mainly, and we do not think his stomach is causing issues right now.
Just to catch everyone up on Rambo. I took him in for a second opinion today with a vet that had seen him in the past (we did not know where she had moved to, but I found her). She did a needle biopsy of the lymph nodes in his neck and sent it out for pathology. She sent out some more bloodwork as well. She will call me as soon as everything comes back.
He lost another 2.some pounds since the last visit. Of course there may be a difference in the scales as well.
Wonder why the air conditioning doesn’t work properly? And, “I have an ac guy that comes out and services it”
