Yes….. I did just turn the AC on to cool the house off for tonight. Probably be back to heating on Thursday. The backyard weather thingy says it’s 74 outside with 81% humidity.

Ok….. this is really really really strange. Rambo decided to try and mount Lady. The problem? Lady doesn’t have needed parts, and Rambo is missing his as well. I will say Lady was not happy about it.

We never did fix the non-greyhound issue. That was just him. I can’t believe that he was only with us 6 1/2 years. Made such a big impact and was the calming force for our pack. He was also the protector pup. Nothing would get between him and his girls.

He’s a big, quiet, gentle boy. 80# of pup. He just laid there when Peanut threw a blanket on his head and than laid down on him. He didn’t whoof when Mindy stepped on a paw while he was sleeping. Perhaps the girls may learn something from him. I expect we will be soon seeing the cat sleeping with him.
He is scared of the dark. He did not want to walk by himself this evening once he got out of sight of the house. We wanted to see how he would walk without the girls. Now we know – it will take some work and time. We know that he needs work with other dogs (non-greyhounds) outside, but that’s OK, that’s why we leash-walk and have muzzles. It is our job to keep him out of trouble.
So, welcome home Ranger. Two (Mindy and Peanut) becomes three (Mindy, Peanut, and Ranger). Welcome home.

And I had to turn the A/C back on. Not cooling off fast enough outside and humidity is up. It will be a short run because tomorrow the temps are supposed to drop all day.

I am going to share this again, @[692691828:2048:Dennis McKeon] wrote this back in 2015, unfortunately there is more truth now…… and before anyone says 10,000 dogs or quotes that number, cut it in about 1/2.

I swear that if some idiot sends me one more email about an ebook not working without telling me the name of the book, and if it is a student or instructor I am going to find the hard covered book and shove it…. oh, never mind.
