Well, the results of my workout challenge are in for the month of January. I did pretty good. First, I did meet the challenge at the Y. I biked 215 miles, ran for 182 miles, and swam 10 miles (weather got cold and pool is outdoors). Not bad!
Good morning all! It is currently 71 degrees outside according to the Backyard Weather Thingy and we have a light breeze of 11mph across the ridge. I think we will see close to 80 today. Someone said something about some football game or something this evening. Really don’t care. Now how about broadcasting a few Greyhound races at the same time on another channel. Would be interesting to see which gets more views?
Anyways, I am off to the gym to get my run for the day in, and then I think I am going to come home and play with some dogs. (Oh, Peanut may get a bath – if she is already pissed off at me we may just make her more so. She escaped the last 2 rounds of bath).

It was all fun and games and begging until someone got crated. Anyone want to guess who? Someone has decided rather than eat the food we will beg for cookies, treats, and everything else and eat when they damn feel like it. I wanted a peaceful dinner tonight so someone got crated. The brat.
I have yet to figure out why it makes the evening news that people in Boston are rushing to Home Depot to buy shovels. Doesn’t say much that they were dumb enough to throw them out after last weeks snow storm 🙂
