I had a great day today at Woodcraft in Centennial, CO taking a CNC class. I have been interested in CNC for a while and have contemplated for years getting a CNC machine that we could use for our custom arts/craft business. Things have been stagnant lately and we need to do something new. This has possibilities, but is a major investment.

The CNC machine allows you to carve wood, etch metal and glass, or etch acrylic. The software is the greatest part of it. The VNC Carve software allows you do do the entire design process and preview without damaging a single piece of wood. Really neat and exposure to that is worth the price of the course by itself.
The above video is an example of the design test process.
I had some others but they were not good enough to share, and there are two of them that I may want to use in the future for a commercial project.
Sorry, not much more for today, other than tomorrow is a new month, new goals, and new adventures to come.
I am going to say goodnight here and take a while to just read and enjoy sitting down. Talk to you tomorrow.
