    So….. Raven was laying there minding her own business. Leona comes over and starts scratching at the bed in the corner and bouncing around on it. Raven picks up her head and growls, woofs, and laid her head back down. Leona lays down and flips over and goes to sleep. That sequence had not happened since Ranger put her in her place a few times years ago.

    I have a feeling we have had a pack re-order in the house. Jesse Pannell and I were wondering when it would happen and who would end up being the alpha. I think we now know.

    It took 3 medical assistants and finally one RN to get blood from me at my hematologists office this afternoon. I feel like a pin cushion. Left arm, right wrist, right arm. The RN said we need have a talk with the DR about your blood thinners:-)

    18 years ago I wrote some software for a small HVACR company that I was working for at the time. We were one of the first companies that put our technicians and salespeople onto laptops and cell phone connects in their service trucks. Little did I know that 14 years later the companies owner is still using that software. How did I find out? Company was sold, server was taken out of service, and his laptop has locked him out of the system.

    I guess my security protocol worked 🙂 There was always a fear of someone stealing the laptop and using the customer lists to start their own businesses. So…. I set it up that if the laptop could not connect to the server it would lock out a whole bunch of the critical information until it reconnected to the server. Nice! It worked!!!

    Oh, well, it will give their new IT guy something to do.

    To the Governor of Florida: Hosting the Superbowl in a pandemic is MUCH different than hosting the Summer Olympic Games. Please do yourself a favor and shut the $uck up. You will embarrass us all.

    Let’s start with a basic requirement of a region that holds the Olympics: Public transit including light rail. Dude, your 4 mile trolley does not count. And, bus service is awful. You don’t even have Amtrak (or any passenger commuter rail) that runs between Tampa and Orlando.

    Let’s try another one: Your lackey suggested that events could be scattered along the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando. Huh???? Have you EVER driven the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando in rush hour on a normal day (without a police escort)??? Now add the Olympics into the mix. Welcome to America’s largest parking lot.

    Yup, you thought this one through. Stop! Look! Listen! Jump into the path of a train! Leave the Olympic Games to someone that has a clue. What a dumb ass.
