Conversation at my house this evening:
“Leona leave your sister alone, you nip her I will nip you, Ranger and Rambo STOP chasing each other in circles around the couch, this isn’t the track! Peanut!!! Leave Mindy alone, she isn’t going to play with you!”
That was all in one breath. They all looked at me and went back to what they were doing.
Annoyance level at all time high this morning. Found out yesterday that a bunch of medical bills from a year ago have been placed for collections. Now mind you, Jesse and I pay every bit of our patient responsibility immediately so it was a shock to see these bills. Our insurance company has also been very good through this entire health mess of 2017. Nothing has been missed. So, why oh why am I having collections show up on my credit report? So, I call the doctors offices involved. Oh, they have been sending bills to the WRONG address for over a year. Get this, the address the last one I talked to has been sending bills to is a tree in the middle of a grove about 2 miles away from the house. There is a hell of a big difference between 168 and 1681. But yet somehow that’s my fault.
Switched up my planned workout today. Started off with a 14 mile bike ride (first one in months) and then followed it up with a 6 mile run. I must have looked DRUNK for the 1st quarter mile of the run. Yes, this is beginning training for my next challenge, a short triathlon in March.
Today, four years ago, we made the decision (or should I say, Lady made the decision) to retire her. She had an early retirement plan.
I have been trying to be nice but this deserves to be shared:
Estimated $5 Billion US tax dollars to build a wall. I could think of a few better ways MY money could be spent, as we all know, Mexico ain’t paying a dime.
1. free health care for ALL regardless of pre existing conditions.
2. increased monthly social security payments to senior citizens
3. Financial investment in our public schools, especially inner cities.
4. Fixing highways, bridges, tunnels, etc.
5. Fixing our taxation system so NO ONE doesn’t pay their fair share.
6. Hire border patrol personnel, surveillance systems, etc.
7. Access for all to trade schools, apprenticeships, etc. as too many college educated people are unemployed.
8. Increased opportunities for pathways to citizenship for hard working, “non criminal” illegals.
I hear superbowl tickets are going for between 3,495.00 to 115,000.00. Right…..
