Just had recheck with doctor, still some concerns. Off from work for yet another 2 weeks. Just about bored out of my mind.

Hello all! I am home.

Actually been home since last night but still pretty drugged up and fell asleep as I was trying to do a status update last night. Want to thank everyone for the good wishes over the last week.

We still have no idea why I had a blood clot, my primary care doctor is now trying to figure that out, unusual enough of a location that they don’t list it in most of the medical books. Anyways, I am off from work for the foreseeable future, not something my employer is very happy about – but, it is what it is. I am sure they do not want to to be doing training classes, registering students in classes, or anything else while I am a “space cadet” as I am now.

So. How does one sneak a 60 pound greyhound into a hospital? I need a puppy fix!

Still at Rockville General Hospital. Will probably be here at least through today and tomorrow. Feeling no pain right now, morphine is a wonder drug 🙂
To my family: please call Jesse if you would like updates. I am really not in the frame of mind to have an intelligent conversation and Jesse can tell you more than I could before I just loose my train of thought.
The current status is we know what the problem is but still don’t know why.

Semi private rooms in hospitals are interesting. The guys sharing the room with me just paged the nurses 11 (no I am not kidding, 11) times for…… You ready for this? To have his nuts rearranged. Luckily he can’t hear to well because I was able to hear what was said at the nurses station about what they would like to do with them….. DON’T piss off the nurses.

Admitted to hospital yesterday and incredibly lucky. Be here for a few days and then some recovery at home afterwards.
